About Us.

Our Restaurant Is a Story of Hope

After 20 years of being a nurse, taking care of others , taking care of my family and loving every minute of it. My world shook when I found out I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I didn't want to not be with my family. We have plana and dreams. I started my fight. My kids, my husband, my parents were my rock. During this period I wasn't able to be the nurse I once was. After talking to my family about how I felt, we decided to open a Jamaican restaurant a dream of my husband and I to share with our kids. My husband is a great cook even from back home in Jamaica. Even when I felt like giving up he is always encouraging me. He always says "The biggest fear in life is how to overcome a monster turn fear into faith and come out victorious". These are the words we live by as we share our Jamaican culture with our family.

"A new spot here in Whiteville! Jamaican Cuisine at its best. Serving Jerk chicken and pork, curry, oxtail, fried chicken, beef pies and more… Service was good, busy today. The place looks great and the location is easy to find".
